The DC Comics film – which brings together Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg after the death of Superman to save the planet from the threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons – comes out in theaters this Friday, but the film is getting some negative attention from fans and celebrities due to the Amazon warriors’ more revealing costumes. However, the Flash, Wonder Woman, and Batman were on full display. Green Arrow has been a surprisingly stalwart feature of the DC Universe despite not getting a true ongoing until 1988. An occasional billionaire who fought crime in Robin Hood attire, the Batman resemblance was noted by fans almost immediately but without nearly as many cool gadgets.
